Apprentice driver

Have you always had the dream of becoming a truck driver? Then now is the time to pursue your dreams. At Van Dingenen Transport, there are several opportunities to retrain or train to become a truck driver.

• Are you already in the work field and want to be retrained as a driver (C or CE): In that case, you can follow the lateral entry route at Van Dingenen Transport. This means that you will obtain your driver’s license through us and during this process you will be coached and learn all the tricks of the trade. After obtaining your driver’s license, you will receive a job guarantee for at least one year based on a minimum of 32 hours per week.
• You want to obtain an MBO diploma (driver road transport via STL): Then you can do your internship at Van Dingenen Transport. 1 day a week you go to school and the other 4 days you go to work to gain experience and learn the tricks of the trade.

What to expect: We want to train you as broadly as possible so that you will be employable in many places within the company. You will start by driving one of our vans/box vans. You will also work in the warehouse to learn everything about loading and unloading goods and the ins and outs of logistics. Once you have obtained your C driving license, you will be deployed on a box truck and can gain the necessary experience. When you obtain your CE license, you will be deployed on a tractor-trailer. During this process you will be guided by our driver coach.
